Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 2, 2026
1. Introduction
All Kards ("we," "our," or "us") provides a digital wallet application for non-payment cards. We are committed to your privacy. This policy explains how our application handles information locally on your device.
All Kards is designed from the ground up as a privacy-first, offline application. We do not operate servers that receive your data, we do not have user accounts, and we have no way to access the cards you store in the app.
2. Data We Process
Because All Kards is a local-only application, we do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to any external servers.
- Card Information: Images of your loyalty, library, gym, insurance, ID, business, transit, membership, and other non-payment cards, along with any names, groups, notes, or categories you provide, are stored exclusively in your device's internal storage.
- Favorites & Settings: Your favorite cards, theme preference, and group configurations are stored locally on your device.
- Card Protection Data: If you set an app PIN, it is stored using your device's encrypted secure storage. Biometric data (fingerprint, Face ID) is handled entirely by your device's operating system — All Kards never receives or stores your biometric information.
3. App Permissions
All Kards requests the following device permissions, used solely for the purposes described:
- Camera: To allow you to photograph your cards directly within the app. Camera access is used only when you actively choose to take a photo.
- Photo Gallery / Storage: To allow you to import existing card images from your device. Storage access is also used to save card images to the app's private directory.
- Biometric Hardware: To authenticate access to protected cards using your device's fingerprint sensor or face recognition. This permission triggers your device's built-in authentication — no biometric data is accessed by the app itself.
4. Data Storage and Security
- On-Device Storage: All data remains on your physical device in a secure SQLite database and private storage directory. We do not have cloud servers and cannot access your data.
- Backup Files: All Kards includes a backup and restore feature that creates a local backup file on your device. You may choose to share or save this file via your device's share sheet (e.g., to cloud storage, email, or another location). Any such sharing is initiated and controlled entirely by you. We do not receive or have access to your backup files.
- User Responsibility: Because data is stored locally, it is your responsibility to secure your device (e.g., using biometric locks or passcodes) to prevent unauthorized access to your card wallet. We recommend using the app's built-in card protection feature for sensitive cards.
5. No Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your card information to third parties because we never have access to it. All Kards contains no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking tools.
6. No Analytics or Tracking
All Kards does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, or tracking technologies. We do not collect usage data, device identifiers, IP addresses, or any form of telemetry. The app contains no cookies, pixels, or similar tracking mechanisms.
7. Children's Privacy
All Kards does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app stores all data locally and does not transmit any information to external servers, no personal data from any user — including children — is collected by us. Parents and guardians should supervise their children's use of the app as with any device-based application.
8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Under regulations like the GDPR and CCPA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. Since all data is local, you can exercise these rights at any time by:
- Editing or deleting cards directly within the app.
- Using the "Clear All Data" option in Settings to permanently remove all stored cards, groups, and images.
- Uninstalling the app, which will permanently delete all locally stored card data.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the app and on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
